Pop frontman Beyonce Knowles has been sued by a Hollywood Hills resident who alleges his privacy was disturbed when she filmed her new video in his quiet community. Philip Markowitz has filed a case against Beyonce and production firm Kleiner and Company in the L. A. Superior Court Fri.
Over Beyonce’s new music video promo ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’, reports contactmusic.com Markowitz claimed that he was insultingly awakened early morning in March this year and was then stopped from leaving his property and every time he stepped out of his home, he found members of the crew obstructing his drive.
He announced he missed several business calls while disagreeing in his drive and wants compensation for the inconvenience and delay. Markowitz has sued on the grounds of non-public bother and trespass and is demanding vague damages and punishing costs.
In a different story, Beyonce looks Bootylicious as she models her new clothing line.
Beyonce declared: ‘The collection was electrified by the theme of the soldier goddess, a horny, yet empowered girl. ‘There are form fitting silhouettes, attractive dresses and lots of metal details to give the pieces a powerful, but glamorous feel.’ The line, which follows House of Dereon, is for sale totally at CA stores in Brazil this week.
House of Dereon was launched by the Knowles family in 2006 as a pret-a-porter fashion line, and followed shortly after by the Dereon line, for younger ladies. The robes vary in price from $300-$500 and are on sale in U.S. Malls, including Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
